July 16- lots of beach time!

Today was Waimea and the famous jumping rock!

Then another day was down by Honolulu - Hiking Diamond Head and snorkeling in Hanama Bay.

Then to the Famous Leonards for Malasadas- kind of like a huge donut hole.

Ending up at The Rainbow house for the BEST shaved ice on this island! They put a scoop of ice cream first, then cover it with shaved ice, then sweetened condensed milk, then whatever flavor you want!
The BEST thing tho…they give missionaries and their families a big discount! I think they are normally about $4.50, but we got ours for $2.80 !!!

That night we had dinner with a friend of Michelle’s who played on the BYU Volleyball team with her. Her name is Wila Peaua. She and her family came from Millilani over here to Laie where her niece lives. Turns out it was only several houses down from us! We had a huge dinner!  Later, we left and came home just as a big storm was starting! When we got home we had no power. So, we had to close all the windows and then sit in a very hot apartment with no fans or A/C !!! It finally came on about 2 am! Hot sleeping that night!!!
