Monday- August 29 - fun times

To start our morning off, we received MAIL !!!! We love mail!  Lindsay sent us some stickers for our canister set:  cute, huh?

Then we worked at the Gateway Buffet at the PCC that night and saw Cindy (used to be Johnson) and her daughter Maddie.  Addie just returned from her mission in New Jersey and will be going to school here at BYU Hawaii. They live in Brentwood, Calif. we haven’t seen them for over 12 years!

After we work, they let us stay to eat! It is wonderful!!!  We sat with a bunch of other seniors who had also worked at the Luaus and we met a Sister Rains. She kept saying we looked familiar so we were trying to place where she could have seen us.She is from Tennessee. We finally determined that her one-time Bishop was Andy Lamoreaux . Andy lives in our ward in Cedar Hills. He is the one who was called as Elder’s Quorum Pres. Shortly after moving there and called Roger as his counselor. He also taught Chad in the MTC because he had been on a Philippine mission. Small world in the church!
