So, Chad and Michelle and family left yesterday morning at 4 am to drive an hour to the airport, return their car, and check all their luggage for their 8am flight! Whew! We miss them already! It was our Pday and we drove to Waihiapo to get our oil changed pin the car. Even though we had an appointment, it was going to take about an hour, so we went to breakfast at a place they recommended around the corner. The portions were huge, so we split a waffle covered with strawberries and whipped cream and a side order of bacon! Soooooo good! We need to have our oil changed more often!
Then we drove to Costco to fill up with gas and the prices had fallen to $4.59 a gallon. I know, instead of being sad that gas is $2.00 a gallon higher than normal, I am choosing to be happy because it has fallen 40 cents a gallon since we got here! Ha!
