Mason came this morning to pick us up and deliver us to the airport!
And while we are headed to our mission, our family is at the Lakehouse!
And they all went to Knoxville to welcome Elder Kaden Monroe home from his 2 yr. Mission in the New York Syracuse mission
We finally arrived in Hawaii….ready to start our mission!
We were greeted by Elder and Sister Bushman who gave us some beautiful Kukui nut leis and took us to lunch!
Then they drove us on a little tour. We met Elder and Sister Bowman at the Visitor’s Center (hereafter referred to as the VC ). We were in the MTC with them. They will be in the marketing dept. at the PCC.
The Bushmans….The Bowmans……the Mahaffeys
They were so nice to give us a gift bag full of goodies for breakfast!
We were pretty tired! Since we are just above the equator here, it gets dark early and gets light early. They told us to try and stay up until 9pm to account for the jet lag. So we did, but just barely! Of course, when it got light at 5 am we promptly woke up! Aaaggghhhh!
