Because our mission is brand new ( just since January 2022 ), the mission President wasn’t sure exactly where he wanted to use us, so he asked us to get some extra training before coming.  We started by getting some training for the Teaching Center. There are 5 teaching centers around the world. One is in Salt Lake City, one in Laie Hawaii, one in Mexico, one in São Paulo Brazil, and one in London. The sisters who work in the center field telephone calls perhaps asking for free Bibles or copies of the Book of Mormon, or answer questions from Facebook chats, etc. We trained in the T4 building at the MTC with a lot of young sister missionaries headed for visitor Centers around the world and teaching centers.

The following week, we did a refresher training course for office training. It has been 5 years since we worked in a mission office, and even though we have been involved with the office for 3 missions, we felt we needed a refresher. So we did another week of office training.

As always, our teachers were great!

And the couples headed to various mission offices who took the classes with us were outstanding!

Then on May 5, we gave our last MTC presentation to the office couples. For about 2 1/2 years we have been going to the MTC each Thursday morning to give an hour long presentation about working in a mission office to the couples and si gel sisters who are doing their 2nd week training for office. We have totally loved it! We took a picture with our wonderful senior missionary secretary- Chris Hansen. They had just put up a brand new picture of a Senior Couple out gleaning in the wheat fields.
